Part time course
The Camphill Baltic Seminar is a three year part time course arranged in 4 blocks per year.
The seminar is based on the three series of “Village Lectures” ( Seeds of Social Renewal), given by Karl König from 1962 to 1964 and has as its goal to enable co-workers to carry and develop the ideals and impulses of Camphill with emphasis on the Village impulse as presented by Karl König in these lectures.
Themes for the three years:

1st year: Understanding the human being

2nd year: Understanding the social life

3rd year: The healing impulse of Camphill
The seminar offers 4 block courses per year, each year being based on one series of these lectures. Homework and preparations are given to the students for each block. It is expected that the homework is presented both in written form and as a verbal presentation at the beginning of each block. The student presents the content of each block to their community and, where possible, puts it into practice in daily life. Artistic and social exercises are an important part of the seminar and include Eurythmy, Painting, Modelling, Music, Drama and Form Drawing.

How to join the Camphill Baltic Seminar
In every Camphill Village or Community in the Northern Region there is a mentor for the Baltic Seminar. All applications to the seminar should go through the mentor who will forward your application to the College of Teachers for the Baltic Seminar.
Conditions for joining the Seminar
Minimum one year of experience living and working in a Camphill Community. However, exceptions can be made after discussion with the mentor who will then send a recommendation to the College of teachers. A basic knowledge of anthroposophy, as taught in the Introduction year in the communities is needed. Your community must support your joining the seminar and the time it entails for Block courses and homework.
Other information
Organisations and institutions outside of the Camphill movement, which are interested in cooperation with Camphill Northern Region Association, are also welcome to join the Camphill Baltic Seminar training.
The teachers are experienced Camphill co-workers, mainly from the Northern Region, and the main language is English. We provide translation into Russian language.
